The 2016 ISACP Congress in Cape Town, South Africa was a great success! Thanks to organizers Amelia Goddard and Emma Hooijberg from the University of Pretoria, the ISACP Congress was held for the first time on the African continent. Delegates attended from Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, Australasia, the Americas and the rest of Africa. The Scientific Program highlighted engaging guest speakers and topics in veterinary clinical pathology, biochemistry, immunology, toxicology and ethno-veterinary medicine. Cape Town's rich cultural heritage and the wider excitement of South Africa's parks and animals were enjoyed by all.
